Is "Mark how to do it." really the correct translation of the japanese sentence?

As far as I can judge, Japanese sentence means something like "Look carefully at how to do it." Though, I'm not sure if this sentence is natural since, in my opinion, it contains at least one mistake: 「起きなさい」 should be 「置きなさい」. Hope, someone with better knowledge of Japanese will check it. :-)
