В английском скорее даже "он был справедлив (по отношению) ко мне".

А во-французском вообще "он вёл себя со мной корректно".

Но я о другом. Мне "честен КО мне" ухо режет. Так разве можно сказать?
А "справедлив ко мне" - нормально. Тараканы? ;)

Мне тоже режет. :-) Ни я и никто в моём окружении так не говорят. Тут, видимо, не то чтобы тараканы, но устоявшийся шаблон. :-)

В переводных словарях так: быть честным (с кем л.)
Но, может быть, "ко мне" - это разговорный вариант.
