Que t'apporte LA DESTRUCTION des preuves .... me semble une expression plus élégante.

je suis d'accord, mais là on est dans un dialogue, et encore une fois, j'essaie de coller à la traduction anglaise autant que possible. Or cette phrase anglaise n'est pas la plus élégante non plus...
C'est toujours un dilemme que de faire cohabiter un style avec l'impératif d'exactitude...
