Chew your food more better

そりゃ more better は文法的におかしいですけど、chew your food more でも変ですか?

You should chew your food more.

eng
Would you chew your food more please?
jpn

While this translation conveys the basic idea, it doesn't really match in feeling.

食べなさい seems much more abrupt than "would you .... please".

Minimally, the English needs a comma before "please."

I was aware that the Japanese sentence had a bit of a harsh tone like a command. I imagined how a parent might say this to their child if they were a little annoyed, and actually despite the tone and it being an order, an unimpressed parent is still likely to use "would you" and "please". The use of these words in fact has a slightly negative tone. If you read it in an angry tone, it really comes across as being annoyed.
