話し手が自分のことを話していても、なんか決まり文句として、"Who needs friends" というのは合っていると思います。「私は友達なんて要らないよ。」の感じを表します。あと、"betray you" はまた自分のことについて話しているかもしれません。先言ったことに理由をつけていて、「あなた」の意味に関係ではありません。

"Doesn't it suck when people betray you" という文の "you"はまた、必ずしも「あなた」じゃなくて、私とか、大体皆さん。で、日本語に翻訳すると、「裏切られるなんて最悪だな」というかになって、目的語はなくなります。この英語は合っていると思いますが、他人の意見がいただけたら、嬉しいです。
