The Turkish literally says "One man."
The idea of the English sentence is that the man referred to in the sentence is not very manly.

For example: I am with a friend, and then some big guys come to hurt my friend and I run away like a coward. After the big guys leave and my friend is on the ground hurt, one of the many possible things he could say to me is "Some man!" or "Some man you are!" implying that I was "less-than-manly", or just plain cowardly, in dealing with the situation.

cueyayotl,
If you run away like a coward, May I say "coward" instead of "some man" or what can I say? in Turkısh or in English?

The closest thing I can think of is "Ne adamsın ama."/"Ne adamsın be." and "Ne adam ama."/"Ne adam be." depending if it is "you" or "him". Maybe even "Sen erkek değilsin." or "O erkek değil." can be used, depending on the situation. What do you think?

I think it as "sen ne biçim erkeksin?" or "Bunlar ne biçim erkek?" "o erkek değil" isn't suitable because you say "big guys" for the ones who came to hurt your friend. I am going to change it as "sen ne biçim erkeksin?"

"Some man." can have other meanings of well, like telling someone who, for example, drinks a lot, does not take responsibilities, and maybe even hits his wife and children... after telling you this about himself.

A: I accidentally broke my boss's computer.
B: Then what did you do?
A: I blamed it on the guy who doesn't speak English.
B: Some man...

But it doesn't have to be in the 2nd person; it can be in the 3rd person as well.

A: Tom accidentally broke our boss's computer.
B: Then what did he do?
A: He blamed it on the guy who doesn't speak English.
B: Some man...

I really liked "Ne adamsın be."/"Ne adam be." but if you feel "Sen ne biçim erkeksin." works as well, then so be it.

I think it's OK. Thanks for your comments.
