Please turn into two sentences.

Few of the trippers called in at the ghost town of New York.
-> Bir kısım Turist New York'u hayalet şehir olarak tanımlar.
-> Bir kısım gezgin New York'u hayalet şehir olarak tanımlar.

Turist and Gezgin are same meaning. Not a differece between two words.
