That seems better. "mun sike ale" sounds like "all circular stars". Maybe "mun li sike li suno." is even better.

Actually "mun li sike." means "the Moon is turning." and "the Moon is round." Besides "mun sike" also means "turning moon" so no progress here too. Stating that the Moon is sike is redundant because it's in fact a sphere. Perhaps,
"mun li suno ali." = "The Moon is completely shining." or
"mun li ale li suno." = "Moon is full and shining".
"pimeja ala li lon mun. mun li suno mute." "There's no unlit regions on the Moon and it's shining a lot."
"selo mun li sike. mun li suno mute." "The silhouette of the moon is round (circular)" and it's shining a lot."
