Kun la verbo"peti", oni pli kutime uzas la propozicion "de".
Jen la kutimaj manieroj, en kiuj estas uzata "peti":
- Peti iun pri io
- Peti ion de iu

La francajn, eble. Sed kredu aŭ ne, ekzistas ankaŭ naturaj lingvoj, en kiuj oni petas same kiel en Esperanto — per (la ekvivalento de) la prepozicio "de".
