"en ville." ou "approchait de la ville."

"en ville" je ne pense pas
"approchait de la ville" est une autre solution possible, mais il y en a d'autres "le train se rapprochait de la ville", "le train arriva à la ville", "le train était aux abords de la ville"..., je ne sais pas quelle est la politique de Tatoeba lorsque plusieurs traductions sont "valides" (?)

"Le train arrivait en ville", c'est très correct.
alors que "Le train arrivait à la ville.", ça ne se dit pas !
Effectivement, il y a plein de façons de traduire, ça n'est pas ce qui est en cause, mais l'idée c'est quand même d'en mettre une qui soit grammaticalement correcte.
"approchait de la ville" dans ça me va bien! :)

"Le train arrivait en ville" est bien sûr correct :D mais plutôt pour traduire "the train came to town" ou "downtown" peut-être.
