No es un postre. Es cuando terminas de comer y continúas hablando con
los demás. En Argentina y en España puede durar horas por ejemplo.
No sé en los demás países hispanohablantes.

"Sobremesa" es una manera anticuada de decir "postre", pero que yo sepa, nadie lo usa con el significado de "postre" hoy en día.
