Hi Paul,
How is your translator doing this time? I would render the English sentence - again linked with the Romanian one - like this maybe: Wen lachst du da aus? Whereas the Dutch sentence, if I understand it correctly, would give me: Mit wem lachst du da gerade?
That's a change of perspective, isn't it? Maybe you could talk with your translator about it. (smile)
Or enlighten me, please, should I be wrong.

Je hebt daar een doos van Pandora geopend, John :-)

Ik heb het bij Roemeense natives nagevraagd. Volgens hen is "De cine râzi" = "Whom do you make fun of", een andere nuance dan "Whom you are laughing at?", niet?

Ik zou dus beter mijn vertaling linken aan de Engelse zin, en de Roemeense zin linken aan "Wie lach je daar uit".

Ik moet er nog een nachtje over slapen :-)
