No te parece que esta oración afirma que la nieve siempre es como el polvo? Esa interpretación sería conforme con la alémana, pero como no es verdad, me parece improbable.
Es algo que podría decir un esquiador por ejemplo.

Puede ser que me equivoco, por supuesto.
