Ĉu ĝi ne estas "dek unua", anstataŭ "dekunua"?

Jen instrua demando!
Laŭ mi "dekunua" estas ĝusta vorto. Se mi skribus "dek unua" oni provus kompreni, ke temas pri "dek unuaj horoj", ĉu ne?
Se temas pri longaj numeraloj adjektive uzataj, mi metus streketojn inter la nombroj, jene "dek-unua". Tiele la gramatika finaĵo a efikas sur la tuta nombro. Ekzemple: "mi naskiĝis en la mil-naŭcent-tridek-sepa jaro".
