Ne temas pri „ĉi sola”, sed pri „tiam ĉi”, eble iom nekutima nun, sed zamenhofa.

Sinonima frazo estus: Nun mi ege ofte vizitadas la kinejon pro la filmfestivalo.

Ĉu tion vi celis, Anino?

Jes mi celis tion : mi deziris skribi "tiam ĉi", kiu kvazaŭ sinonime signifas"nun".
Malvere sajnis al mi ke "tiam ĉi" pli bone taŭgus ol "nun".
per la franca : "en ce moment, ces temps-ci" tradukus "tiam ĉi,
dum "maintenant, actuellement" tradukus "nun".
Sed vi pravas, "nun" signifas "en la estanta tempo" kaj ĝi bone kaj simple taŭgas.
Tamen... ĉu nekutimaj esprimoj devas malaperi?

Ne, ili ne devas malaperi. Kiel mi skribis supre, via frazo estis iom nekutima (tiom nekutima, ke iuj eĉ ne komprenas ĝin!), sed certe ne erara.
