Nothing!
The translated sentence is Ok,
but *original* sentence is wrong!
(not 10 but 8+2)

Do you really call them legs? Even in Webster's dictionary, a squid is described as a sea animal having ten arms.

It's not that uncommon to hear them referred to as squid legs.
That's what I and my friends have always called them.

I have no objection if someone who uses the term "squid arms" adds an alternate translation to one of the other languages linked, if they know it matches that language.

Try these:

"squid legs" vs. "squid arms"

"dried squid legs" vs. "dried squid arms"

That alternate translation is already there: [#66640]. It still needs to be adopted by a native.

I just leave it here:

http://dictionary.cambridge.org.../british/squid
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Squid

I doubt that all these links can mislead...
