
"English" needs to be replaced by "Esperanto", as Esperanto is much much easier than English. Please have a look at Esperanto teaching sites and see if I am right in saying so.

(Actually, I think all the languages are equally difficult. What makes it easy to learn is *motivation*. I can find motivation for learning English, German or even Tatar... But not for Esperanto.)

(I disagree on "equally difficult", but I agree completely on "motivation". My theory - it's all in the culture and environment. If the environment is right and there's full immersion, any language is easy. The downside to Esperanto is that it's unlikely that they create such an environment. Now if they could... it'd be a different story.)
