Wie meine Logik funktioniert, finde ich die Sätze hier äußerst merkwürdig.
(Ich weiß ja, Du hast nur übersetzt.)
Ich weiß nicht, ob ein Relativsatz eine gute Lösung ist. Was ich denke:
Ich habe die Handschuhe gefunden, die unter dem Stuhl lagen, aber die,
die unter dem Kleiderschrank lagen, habe ich noch nicht gefunden.

maaster hat Recht

Man würde vernünftigerweise so sagen: Ich habe die Handschuhe gefunden. Sie lagen unter dem Stuhl.

Das Problem liegt aber bei den Ausgangssätzen. Auch der englische Satz ist m.E nicht normal.
