
The source language is also not a sentence - it's a reaction to a question. I actually think it's ok as it's common in a lot of languages and people understand it as it is.

Likely the translation would be different depending on the question, at least it would be in Japanese.
This is why it's better to use complete sentences, or put these kinds of phrases into dialogs.
