In diesem (deutschen) Satz kann ein Komma Wunder wirken.
ohne Komma melkt Maria die Kuh - Maria ist ein Subjekt wie die Banken.
mit Komma ist Maria die Kuh - Maria ist ein Objekt wie wir.

Ich würde die Maria aus dem Spiel lassen - Die Banken melken uns wie die Milchkühe ?

Und wenn ich Maria an ihrer Stelle lassen wollte, ist die Frage noch, womit Du die Schrift in Klammern ersetzen könntest.
Ich hab schon Tom zugunsten einer Kuh, deren Namen ich immer noch nicht kenne, vom Text ausgelassen; Maria will ich nicht.
