Willkommen Mandalay.

Das Niederländische hat den Plural, was ich nicht ganz verstehe. Ich vermute, dass irgendwo in der Reihe der Übersetzungen etwas schiefgelaufen ist. Wenn man nämlich die indirekte englische Übersetzung öffnet, bekommt man als weitere indirekte Übersetzung: Mijn ouders zijn oud. #448502

Wat maken wij nu? Ich denke, wir sollten Deinen Satz vom niederländischen wieder trennen. Was dagegen? „Meine Väter sind alt“ halte ich nicht für sehr sinnvoll.

Ich hatte den Plural leider übersehen. Leider kann ich meine Übersetzung nicht löschen. Du kannst ihn gerne trennen.
Es gibt übrigens noch mehr solcher Pluralsätze.
