I think "oi" needs to be ".oi"

The periods are not necessary. They are just optional cues to the reader to remind them where there needs to be pauses. You can figure that out from the rules of the language without them though. (In this case, the rule is that any word starting with a vowel needs a pause.)

I tend to not use periods except for {.i} My only reasoning is that it looks nicer.
