Seems right but I'm not able to judge actually.
"En prendre plein la gueule" might referer to physical molestation as well as, metaphorically, sustain a lot of mishaps, or vocal opposition , ...
The usage is rather broad...
For instance, I can say that when i did something wrong at work and have been subsequently harshly lectured by my boss...
