A few suggestions:

"reassured me saying" -> "reassured me, saying"
"even if oil prices would explode" -> "even if oil prices exploded" or "even if oil prices were to explode"

Actually, now that I think about it, "assuring" might not be the best verb here. I think "ensuring" might be better, but I'm not entirely sure on that.
