je pense que 'lait' ne correspond pas à 'cream'

ben crème non plus...

Personne en France ne dit jamais "crème" dans ce cas, même si on dit un "café-crème" mais alors en ne séparant pas les deux éléments.

Quand en anglais on dit "cream or sugar" en français on dit "lait ou sucre", et là, je traduis l'anglais.

donc je pense qu'en fait, là, dans le contexte, c'est la traduction allemande qui erronée.
La phrase veut dire qu'un bon café ne nécessite pas d'additif, qui sont en général le lait et le sucre, et non pas "de la crème"...

ben alors relaie l'explication à Esperantostern, parce qu'il n'y a que les allemands pour traduire "cream" par "crème" et en mettre dans leur café...

Hm, je suis ni expert d'anglais, ni espert de café.
Je me demande si le 'cream' pourrait (dans ce contexte) correspondre à 'Kaffeesahne' (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaffeesahne) qui est en fait du lait... dans ce cas la traduction allemande serait bonne.
