「ものもらい」は目の病気の呼び名として使われます。
「ものとり(物取り)」=「泥棒」「盗人」の誤りでしょうか？

なお、「ものもらい」は関東などでの方言で、正確な病名は麦粒腫(ばくりゅうしゅ)というようです。

「ものもらい」がキャラクターの名前(固有名詞)であれば(日本語としては)問題ありません。
但し、版権(Copyright)の問題はあるかもしれません。

「ものもらい」は固有名詞ではなく一般名詞の「物乞い（ものごい）」の事のようですね。
