La traducción de Hayastan es perfecta pero aparece solo en gris. Sugiero que también se incorpore en azul a esta oración inglesa.

Hello, CK. I think so, but there is a tiny inconvenient if we want to make things really in a perfect way. To wake up is "despertarse" in Spanish and to get up from the bed it is "levantarse". Both have a very close meaning and I believe it's not a bad idea to match both versions of the sentence with the original one in English. This would be like this: "Él que se acuesta con perros, con pulgas se levanta" or "Él que se acuesta con perros, con pulgas se despierta". You can notice that I also did make a minuscule change in the order of the words to make it better, it sounds better in Spanish: instead of "El que duerme con perros se levanta con pulgas" I prefer rather "Él que con perros duerme, con pulgas se levanta" because emphasizing even more the cause and the effect. About regarding the second version my opinion is that matches very well with the original "Él que con perros duerme, con pulgas se despierta".
Once you got the fleas you can't get rid of them until you get up from the bed.
