Could someone add an explanation how such sentence is possible in Russian?

Lenin_1917 Lenin_1917 December 13, 2014 December 13, 2014 at 1:49:49 PM UTC link Permalink

1) косой (человек) - squint-eyed man
2) косая коса (косой косой - творительный падеж) - oblique/slanting scythe

maybe someone else will explain better. my english very bad.

Your English is good enough. ☺
Thank you very much! I do understand it now.

Lenin_1917 Lenin_1917 December 13, 2014 December 13, 2014 at 1:53:46 PM UTC link Permalink

it seems duplicate

Lenin_1917 Lenin_1917 December 13, 2014 December 13, 2014 at 1:55:43 PM UTC link Permalink

you can change it to: Косой косой косил косой.

PS. sharptoothed, thanks for linking the other sentence.
I see now that a sentence as the one I posted a while ago already exists. What happens now with all the comments we have posted here, under my own sentence, if my sentence is going to be deleted (being a duplicate)?

Thanks, changing it.
