He goes to London - present.
En su frase: "Él fué" - he went (past).

Oops, it's a different sentence - unrelated to the English one.

I'm detaching it from the current cloud.

fue* sin acento ^^

I hope that quarzoliquido will soon correct it.

Thanks Eldad and Shishir. I corrected the accent ("tilde" in spanish), any other suggestion?, i believe that isn't very accurate to use "one month ago".

I believe it's Ok now. I don't have any other comment. "hace un mes" = "a month ago" (perfectly good Spanish).

@quarzoliquido: BTW, it's not "tilde" in Spanish, but rather "acento" :)

Shishir Shishir January 4, 2011 January 4, 2011 at 10:55:02 PM UTC link Permalink

@Eldad: actually, both are right, and, as "acento" is also used to refer to the stress and "tilde" just to the small mark, we tend to use more "tilde" :P

@Shishir: Thanks, you live and learn. I was sure that "tilde" is what is usually placed on the "n" in año, and all the rest are "acentos" :)
