Laŭ mi "kiel" ne nepre necesas. La vorto "instruistino" povas esti konsiderata kiel predikato.
Mi tamen aldonis ĝin por komplezi vin :)

Hmm, ĉu oni povas uzi predikatan (sed nudan) substantivon simplo post netransitiva verbo? Mi ne certas, mi ne konas tian uzon. Mi kredas, ke tio nur eblas ĉe kelkaj verboj, kiel "esti" kaj "ŝajni", ekzemple...

Mi iom traserĉis interreton. Plej ofte oni uzas "aspektas kiel ...o", tamen en http://www.gutenberg.org/files/31348/31348-0.txt oni uzas ambaŭ formojn.

Laŭ nia instruisto la verbo "aspekti" estas iu formo de "esti": "esti laŭ la eksteraĵo", simila al "ŝajni".
