When anyone finds a sentence whose language is misrecognized, please report it, either on the Wall or in a private message to me. Please let me know the sentence, the correct language, and the language that is chosen.

Please let us know at least one of the sentences that you're trying. We need that information to reproduce the problem, fix it, and verify that it has been fixed.

Hebrew is also not recognized (a question mark appears instead). If you need just one example:

Okay, I have enough examples, thanks. I also saw this with an English sentence I added: "I'm sorry, but I don't recognize the language you're speaking."

It occurs to me that this might be related to the fact that the wiki is down as well. Perhaps the language identifier engine is located on the same server.

I will let sysko know that language identification is failing as well. I've already told him by e-mail that the wiki is down, but have not heard back from him. I haven't seen him on our IRC channel, either.
