Ich weiß ganz genau, daß ich das sogar einmal in einem „Lustigen Taschenbuch“ gelesen habe. ☺

Ich habe Dein Etikett durch „old-fashioned“ ersetzt. Ich hoffe, daß Dir das recht ist. Es gibt auch die Etikette „elevated style“, „literary style“ und „colloquial“. (Englisch allein ist alles andere als ideal, aber vielleicht ist es ja in einer zukünftigen Tatoeba-Version möglich, die Etikette zu übersetzen.)

Die etwas älteren Lustigen Taschenbücher (diejenigen, die aus einer einzigen, zusammenhängenden Geschichte bestehen) sind sprachlich sehr gelungen, finde ich. Hin und wieder etwas Zauber vorheriger Jahrhunderte (Schiller, Goethe etc.) — das kann nur vergnüglich sein! ☺
