Question posée à la commande d'une bière dans un bar.

La phrase anglaise a été modifiée pour créer une Tatoeba-phrase complète, donc peut-être (Corrigez mes erreurs, s'il vous plaît; je sais que mon français est terrible.):

Voulez-vous avoir votre bière dans une bouteille ou pression?

Non.

- - - -

I'm sorry. I was not at all trying to provoke an argument. I was simply attempting to implement what I thought was a Tatoeba policy, by creating a more or less reasonable alternative phrasing that was in fact a complete sentence.

Do you, perhaps, have another suggestion that would convert your French partial sentence into a complete one?

Please remember that we are all volunteers trying to cooperate to continuously improve Tatoeba. I don't take offence at your remark, but really, there was no call to make rude remarks. Let's all be kind and assume good will.

et la phrase que vous avez suggérée en français n'est pas du tout naturelle. Personne ne dit jamais « Voulez-vous avoir votre bière dans une bouteille ou pression? »
Vous êtes juste un petit donneur de leçons à la petite semaine !

Do we need to behave like that?

sacredceltic sacredceltic November 13, 2016 November 13, 2016 at 9:04:29 PM UTC flag Report link Permalink

Do we need to have non-natives telling natives what sentences are correct in their culture ?
Seriously ?

Being a native doesn't mean that one knows and remembers everything about his/her own native language. Actually, nothing and anyone shouldn't assume that knows everything since there are always a lot to learn, live, experience, see. The world is big and so the universe... We may want to learn everything but from my own experience, I know I don't know and I'll ever know everything even studying, reading for all my entire life, for centuries... However, I DO wanna learn as much as possible. Always.
