I translated it from french "On se connait?". Russian sentence "Вы знаете меня?" (Do you know me?) sounds a bit unnatural to me. Unless it's someone who is suffering from amnesia :)

I'm quite sure of russian "Мы знакомы?" even as "Do you know me?" :) But I can't say the same for your "Are we acquaintances?" because I'm not so good at English.
Anyway, I think you should not unlink it. Maybe can you add a tag "@needs native check"?
