Bem, um falante nativo do português NUNCA falaria ''não ENCONTRO isso engraçado''. Pois não faz sentido, a frase fica totalmente estranha. Talvez você tenha inventado.

Marlon tem razão. Poderíamos cogitar a possibilidade de que em Portugal ou em algum outro país lusófono se diga assim, mas não encontrei nenhuma referência semântica do verbo "encontrar" como utilizado nesta frase.

Em minha opinião, trata-se simplesmente de uma influência errônea do verbo francês "trouver", que aborda diferentes significados, como "achar" e "encontrar".
