"Alcoholum" wäre Genitiv Plural. "Alcohol" (als neolateinisches Wort) wird wie "tempus" dekliniert, daher ist der Akkusativ Singular davon "alcohol".

alcoholum, i, n fand ich im Wörterbuch Neues Latein Lexicon, Verlag Lempertz.
Dahinter steht allerdigs in Klammer: apud Paracelsum est alcohol sine declinatione.

Oh, interessant. Es gibt da ja unterschiedliche Quellen, sicherlich... ich habe einfach im PONS Schülerwörterbuch gefunden:

Alkohol: temetum nt, alcohol <-holis> nt

Die letzte Form schlägt auch der Kauderwelsch-Band 74: Modernes Latein für unterwegs vor.

Im PONS Wörterbuch des neuen Lateins (wohl ein Nachdruck oder so des "Lexicon recentis latinitatis", herausgegeben von der libraria editoria vaticana) steht das gleiche, was du grad zitiert hast. Auch andere Deklinationen weiter unten bei verwandten Wörtern.

Gut, letzeres ist wohl die aussagekräftigste Quelle. Dann soll das Wort so bleiben. :)
