Mi kutime distingas inter presilo, kiu presas librojn kaj gazetojn, kaj printilo, kiun mi uzas en mia laborĉambro apud mia komputilo.

Presi per presilo — jen vera harlekenaĵo! Difino, kiu kvazaŭ fordifinas, kiun ĝi celas difini.

Ankaŭ legante la difinon de "presi" en la sama vortaro,
(Reprodukti tekston, bildojn ks, ĝenerale en multaj ekzempleroj, k ĝenerale per apliko de inko al papero)
ne nur mi ne vidas la neceson de tiu aparta vorto "printi", sen kiu bone funkcias aliaj lingvoj, inter ili la angla. Ĉu ne estas strange, ke "printi" estas inspirita de "to print" — kiu signifas "presi"!
