Ĉu "ridis al li", ĉu "ridis pri li" (aŭ "primokis lin")?

Prava demando. "Ridi" per si mem povas esti io moka, kaj ĉar tio okazas "tuj", mi supozas ke vere la rido konkrete direktiĝas al la priridato kaj tial elektis skribi "al". Sed efektive alia prepozicio pli bone elstarigas la mokan aspekton, precipe "ridi pri". "Laugh at" povas ankaŭ esti io spita, ekz. ridi pri minaco aŭ danĝero, sed apenaŭ ĉi tie. "Primoki" estus eble samsenca, sed tamen la originalo povas signifi konkretan ridon. Mi tre hezitas, ĉu ŝanĝi al "pri".

Mi provis kontroli la japanan originalon, sed ne povis ricevi konkretan "respondon" pri kiu rido vere temas.

Kaj, ĉiuokaze, laŭ principoj de Tatoeba la traduko rilatas nur al la Angla frazo, eĉ se tiu estus erare tradukita el la Japana. Por ligi la tradukon al la Japana frazo oni devas esti sufiĉe kompetenta kaj pri E kaj pri la Japana.

Jes, certe. Sed nur el scivolemo, mi volis vidi kion celis skribi la anglalingvano kiu tradukis la japanan originalon.
