Here, we use almost the same word as you do, "korban" :)
This is our word for "victim".

As I said before, our ancestors lived together for ages and still are living in Turkey. So they are similar. Take care.

Actually, the Hebrew and the Arabic words derive from the same ancient language in this respect (I refer to the word "Qurban"). Turkish drew on the Arabic word.

:D You are right. As you know, before Turkish, Ottoman Empire almost used Arabic letters and Arabic and Persian languages.Both of our nations used Arabic words. Take care.
