die Ende > das Ende

Maybe even better would be: "Ich will dir das Ende nicht verderben." (Dativ sounds a bit more normal than "für dich" in this sentence)

Thanks. I should have checked the gender for "Ende" beforehand. As German students we're taught that 90% of nouns ending in -e are feminine.

Yeah, that's a good Eselsbrücke. =)
I noticed that myself and taught it to some people. If it ends in -e it's probably female. Then you just need to remember the hundreds of exceptions. ;)
