Köszönöm, Eldad!

I'm trying to validate the Ukrainian translation, which reads "He's arriving from Genoa", which is nothing like "He comes from Genoa"/"He is from Genoa".
Would "He's arriving/coming from Genoa" be a valid interpretation of the Hungarian sentence?
