I would say no. It's understandable, in the way that "the red wooden big bridge" is, but the order of modifiers is unusual. The English should be "the big red wooden bridge", in my opinion, and the German should use time-manner-place order.

Du könntest einfach das Präteritum durch das Perfekt ersetzen:
Wir sind drei Stunden vor unserem Flug am Flughafen angekommen.
