In der Tat!
Aber kannst du mir erklären, wieso es korrekt ist "kaputt machen" getrennt zu schreiben, während das Ergebnis (wo die Dinge ja in der Regel nicht mehr ganz und zusammenhängend sind) zusammengeschrieben wird als "kaputtgegangen" ???

Rechtschreibreform eben — da kann man nicht mit Logik auf der Ebene der Wortbedeutungen argumentieren. Hier gibt es aber noch einen Eintrag: http://www.duden.de/rechtschreibung/kaputtmachen (Bedeutung c).

Angenommen meine Uhr war zwar kaputt, ging aber trotzdem (noch). Ist sie dann kaputt gegangen? Warum nicht; man kann ja auch nackt tanzen, zum Beispiel.
Aber was, wenn "das deutsche Sprach gehen kaputt immer mehr"? Soll man dann fragen: „Ja, geht's noch?“
