I know that the "sa" at the beginning of the verb means future tense, but I thought that even if one doesn't add it, it is correct (i.e., it's up to the reader to decide whether it's the present or the future tense). So, is adding the "sa" to "ta'uduna" imperative?

English is totally different from Arabic therefore, in Arabic, if you want to indicate the future tense, you have to add either " sa" ( س ) or " sawfa" ( سوف )
for example, ( سأعود بعد قليل ) ( سوف أذهب إلی المدرسة )
Now, you may ask what's the difference between " sa " and "sawfa"? Well, "sa" means the action will happen within a short time while " sawfa" means the action will hapeen in a longer time ..
