Should be <retlhwIjDaq>. <jIH retlhDaq> means, "next to the monitor."

Not in ta' Hol.
In standard Klingon, relational nouns do not take possessive suffixes. Instead they follow the independent pronouns. {retlhwIjDaq} is only possible in some dialects.

Ah, that's right. I'm letting my Sakrej roots show. You are correct that <retlhwIjDaq> is dialectal and <jIH retlhDaq> means either, "next to me," and, "next to the monitor."

I happened across the line that made this seem wrong. On p.52 of TKD, it says, "Pronouns are not used in possessive constructions in the way nouns are; instead, the set of possessive noun suffixes is used." KGT and TKD conflict in this, but I guess these "prepositional concepts" follow a special rule in <ta' Hol> which requires pronouns to be, "used in possessive constructions in the way nouns are."
