Ĉu ne povus nomi: "Li povis revojaĝi ĝustatempe."?

Hi, Espi!
Sorry for not writing in Esperanto, I'm still not fluent in it.
Well, in my very humble opinion (and definitely not as an expert in Esperanto), your sentence seems to me perfectly grammatical.
However, I don’t see this sentence as the best translation to the sentence “He could travel back in time.”
To me, “travel back in time” normally refers to time traveling, that is, moving between different points in time.
The sentence "Li povis revojaĝi ĝustatempe" seems to be more related to “go back” or “travel back” (revojaĝi) to a place where you were before in time to do something, that is, before the time by which it is necessary for something to be done (ĝustatempe).
One example of it is as follows: I live in Brazil. Then I travel to Spain. I have to go back to Brazil within 2 days and 12 hours, because I have an important appointment. If I arrive in Brazil within 2 days and 11 hours, for example, then I would say “Mi povis revojaĝi ĝustatempe”.
In English, I don’t really know what the best translation would be. I thought of “I could arrive back on time”, or “I could travel back home in time”, but there must be some better translation.
Well, this is just my opinion, which may be wrong of course.
Do you agree with that?
A third opinion would also be nice, wouldn’t it?
Peace!! Have a great weekend and thanks for the very valuable discussion.
Matheus

Saluton! Mi ofertas mian opinion kiel sperta Esperantisto. :)

Thanks a lot, Matheus! It's a very good exemplification, which enhances my understanding.
Kaj multan dankon, Vortarulo, pri via opinio.
Sed Alois jam aldonis la frazon.

Vortularo,
Thanks for your contribution! I failed to see the ambiguity in the English sentence, but I guess you are right - it can really be seen as an ambiguous sentence.
Espi,
Sorry for removing your sentence as a possible translation for the English sentence “He could travel back in time.” As you said, somebody has already corrected my mess!
Thanks for the correction and all the information that we shared!
Peace,
Matheus
