
Slightly different from the original translation but this translation was added as "I wish I were dead" could also be used to express either death wish or an over exaggerated wish to be released from a difficult situation at hand.
e.g
I got so much work to do. I have not slept over 70 hours now. I wish I was dead.
In such case as above or to express that one desires to be dead, "死んしん じゃ い たい 。" is more appropriate than "死んしん で い たら 良かっよかっ た のに と 思うおもう よ 。"
