*twenty-seven

Wouldn't it be more accurate to say "Three is a cube root of twenty-seven."?
According to what I was taught at school, the 3乗根 of 27 are 3 and (−3±3√3i)/2. Or is it different is English (and German)?

> All real numbers (except zero) have exactly one real cube root

... and a pair of complex conjugate roots, right?

The real cube root of twenty-seven is three.

When native speakers speak of the square root or the cube root, they are typically speaking of the real answer or answers, not complex ones, in my experience.

In the right context, the complex numbers might be sensible. So another sentence with them could be added.
