I don't speak Hungarian so I cannot judge whether mraz request was indeed justified, but it surprises me a bit that the sentence was incorrect without an exclamation mark.

Maybe "Legyen óvatos!" is a better translation, but in this case, simply add it as an alternate translation rather than editing the existing sentence.

More generally speaking, you should never edit a sentence if it is correct. Cf. rule #5: http://en.wiki.tatoeba.org/arti...elf,-it-is-cor

It would be appreciated if an other Hungarian speaker could confirm whether or not "Legyen óvatos." (with a period instead of an exclamation mark), is incorrect as a sentence.

Imperative sentences always end with an exclamation mark in Hungarian. The sentence in question is a command, so it has to end with an exclamation mark according to Hungarian orthography.
