This is a sentence from the famous final telegram from Admiral Ota, who commanded the Japanese naval forces in Okinawa in 1945. It's old-fashioned Japanese, and was written 沖縄県民斯ク戦ヘリ at the time. I'm removing it from Enamdict/JMnedict, where it has no place, but it might be useful to record it here.
